About Karina Pasian

Hailing from Washington Heights, New York City, Karina Pasian is one of the industry’s most impressive and accomplished emerging young artists on the rise. Beginning her career at only sixteen years old, Karina garnered the attention of industry heavyweights early on. In 2006 she signed a deal with Def Jam Recordings through LA Reid and released her first album “First Love” in 2008. Karina’s debut record received an astonishing five Grammy nominations for Best New Artist, Best Female Vocal Performances, Best R&B Album, Album of the Year, and Record of the Year.

A natural born performer and classically trained pianist/vocalist, Karina Pasian had the passion and professionalism of a seasoned artist at a young age. By the time she’d matured to her mid-teens, Karina won the national talent search competition Star Search, performed at The White House for President George W. Bush in celebration of Black Music Month, and performed at Quincy Jones’ We Are The Future concert in Rome.

A graduate of the Professional Performing Arts School in New York, Karina couples her raw talent with an impressive educational background. On top of being multi-talented she’s multi-lingual, and student of ballet for twelve years. Karina speaks three languages (Russian, English, and Spanish) and understands four (Russian, English, Spanish, and German).

Accomplishing so much at an early age, the best is yet to come. Karina Pasian has the raw talent and maturity that proves she is a force to be reckoned with.
